The theme for this year's concert is Fate and Destiny. You'll hear Giuseppe Verdi's Overture to La Forza del Destino, Hector Berlioz's March to the Scaffold from his Symphonie fantastique, and the two final movements of Ludwig von Beethoven's Symphony No. 5.
Our Spring Young People's Concert brings middle and high school students into Overture Hall to experience classical music the way it was meant to be heard...live! The students not only get a chance to hear the full symphony orchestra, they're inspired by the playing of their peers, the winners of the
Bolz Young Artist Competition, Final Forte.
Our Curriculum Guide lets you dive into the music as deeply as you want to go, so you and your children or students will have a richer concert experience. Based on the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for Music Education, the Guide will help you explore and learn more than you ever dreamed possible! Take a look
