Side-By-Side brings MSO musicians into the schools to work closely with middle and high school music students. Sitting side by side in rehearsals, the MSO musicians help students gain confidence, learn performance technique and rehearsal ettiquette. The program encourages student musicians to continue with their musical studies and imparts the message that music can be a life-long joy.
