THE CROWNING JEWELS OF
THE MADISON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

THE OVERTURE CONCERT ORGAN
The gift of Pleasant T. Rowland, the Overture Concert Organ was made possible through an unprecedented $2.95 million in private contributions to the MSO. With 4,040 pipes and a unique movable chamber that rolls on railroad wheels, it is one of America's most important new organ installations. Learn more at left.

THE MADISON SYMPHONY CHORUS
With more than 250 volunteer artists, the Madison Symphony Chorus adds greatly to the range and depth of masterworks the MSO is able to perform season after season. Directed by Beverly Taylor, the Chorus joins the MSO several times each season to enliven performances of some of the world's great choral works. Learn more at left.

THE HAMBURG STEINWAY CONCERT GRAND PIANO
The MSO's magnificent Hamburg Steinway concert grand piano is used for all performances in Overture Hall. The instrument is the gift of Peter Livingston and Sharon Stark in memory of Magdalena Friedman. Music Director John DeMain traveled to Hamburg with the donors to hand pick this beautiful instrument.
