THANK YOU MSO!
"Thank you for the opportunity to see the symphony's practice last night [for the Lynn Harrell concert]. It's really nice to be able to expose my 3 boys to an orchestra without the pressure that a formal evening would bring... at least for now, anyway. They truthfully enjoyed it, too. They even knew the first piece from a Tom and Jerry cartoon! I want my kids to have an appreciation for classical music. Starting them young (at 8, 9 and 11) is better than waiting until they are teens and would be able sit still, but already have in their minds that it is 'boring'. --MSO Patron

OPEN DRESS REHEARSAL ETIQUETTE
Please treat the rehearsal as a concert: you should arrive in Overture Hall by 6:50 PM so that you can be seated before the rehearsal begins. Please also turn off cell phones, remain silent and leave quietly if you need to before the end. The use of cameras or recording devices of any kind is prohibited. The rehearsal will last two to three hours with a 15 minute break in the middle. Please remove children quickly if they become disruptive. We thank you for making this public service a source of joy for all! Open Dress Rehearsals take place in Overture Hall, 201 State St. Schedules, artists and programs are subject to change.
