ACCESSIBILITY

Overture Center for the Arts and Overture Hall are fully accessible to persons with mobility, hearing or visual impairments. Ushers are available at each concert to assist you.
  • Wheelchair seating is available in Orchestra Front, Circle Rear and Mezzanine Rear (sections 1, 8 and 10 on the seating map). Accessible locations are reserved for use by patrons with disabilities, but may be released for general sale when all other locations are sold. If you are planning on transferring to a theater seat from a wheelchair or mobility device, please inform a staff member when ordering your tickets so we may seat you in an appropriate and safe location. Fire safety codes forbid items such as wheelchairs and mobility devices from being left in any aisle where they may become an obstruction in an emergency.
  • Large-print programs are available at the MSO's Patron Courtesy Table in the lobby of Overture Hall prior to all concerts.
  • Assistive-listening headsets are available at every performance. Please inform an usher.
  • Braille programs should be requested at least two weeks prior to the performance through the MSO office. Call 608.257.3734.
For more information, call the Overture Center's Special Assistance Line at 608.258.4144 (TTY/Textnet 866.704.2328), email accessibility@overturecenter.com, or visit the accessibility page on the Overture Center's website. Metered parking spaces are also available on the street. Vehicles with DIS hang tags or plates may park at no charge at parking meters which are one-half hour or longer in duration. Many Madison Metro bus lines travel State Street. Bus stops are located near the Overture Center's entrances. Visit the City of Madison's website for more information.
